I saw two Testarossas and some Convertible Ferrari on the way to work this afternoon. :)

What is this one?

Mondial Cabriolet.

Could be anywhere between '83-'89. It's not a "T", but could be a 3.0 or a 3.2

Mondial. Generally considered to be the worst Ferrari ever made, the kind of $30k car you buy to say you have a Ferrari, but hysterically slow and not a particularly good car. The Testarossa, on the other hand...

They make less power than your ST. Shoulda raced 'em, then you could legitimately say your car is faster than a ferrari.

I don't think they were any more rubbish than any other 80s Ferrari. It just wasn't that exciting, and (some thought) the styling was a little frumpy. They probably didn't sell many Mondial posters.

I do believe the Mondial T was the first mid-engine Ferrari to have a longitudinal V8. All the other "entry level" V6 and V8 cars had transverse engines in them. IIRC, they used this chassis for the next few generations of mid-engined two-seaters, too.

It's not 100% terrible, but it's certainly not what you would expect from a Ferrari. I find it ugly (and I'm not alone), it's slow, really unreliable (okay, most Ferraris are) and generally un-Ferrari-ish.
